Your Retreat Includes
- Two nights accommodation
- Meals and refreshments included (except Sunday Cafe lunch at own expense)
- Cooking with Bush Tucker – discover native Australian ingredients and traditional flavours through hands-on cooking experiences
- Traditional Weaving Workshop with Aunty Valerie Murray, sharing Indigenous knowledge, creativity and cultural traditions
- Healing Session with Rainbow Warrior (Uncle Allan Martin), sharing traditional healing practices and cultural wisdom
- Create your own burnt hat with CNK Creations, designing a unique keepsake to take home
- Make your own Gumbi Gumbi Healing Balm, learning about the traditional uses of one of Australia's best-known native medicinal plants
- Indigenous storytelling, yarning and cultural connection
- Time to slow down, reflect, walk and reconnect with nature
- All workshop materials included
Meals
Your retreat investment includes:
- Morning tea, lunch and dinner on Friday and Saturday
- Breakfast on Saturday and Sunday
- Tea, coffee and refreshments throughout the retreat
- PLEASE NOTE: Sunday lunch at Poppies Café is at your own expense.
Following your booking, Valerie will contact you to discuss any dietary requirements or food allergies.
Accommodation
You'll stay for two nights in comfortable chalet accommodation nestled within the beautiful Bunya Mountains National Park. Surrounded by ancient bunya pines and native wildlife, the peaceful setting provides the perfect place to relax, reflect and reconnect throughout the retreat.
Accommodation is twin-share and designed to complement the relaxed, community feel of the retreat.

Please note: Guests are asked to bring their own single-bed linen and towels.
Linen hire may be available through the venue for an additional fee (please enquire if required).

To help you enjoy a comfortable and relaxing retreat, please bring:
- Single-bed linen (or enquire about linen hire)
- Towel
- Comfortable clothing
- Walking shoes
- Hat
Water bottle - Toiletries and any personal medications
- A notebook or journal (optional)
Cancellation Policy
As this retreat has limited places and significant preparation costs, the following cancellation policy applies:
- Cancellations made more than 40 days prior to the retreat receive a full refund less a $250 administration fee.
- Cancellations made 30 days prior receive a 50% refund.
- Unfortunately, no refunds are available within 14 days of the retreat unless your place can be filled from a waitlist.
If Maudu Collective needs to cancel the retreat due to unforeseen circumstances, participants will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future retreat.
